Dr. Matthew Gillham, or Dr. Matthew, as he is known to patients, focuses on a patient-centered approach to dentistry with a gentle and understanding nature. He has based his career on helping kids become passionate about maintaining excellent oral health, and believes that a parent/child team that is educated and working together is the best formula to provide exceptional care for children. Dr. Matthew has been the pediatric specialist at the Leander location since March 2020, providing a full spectrum of children’s dentistry including care with oral sedation and general anesthesia.
Dr. Matthew graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and received an advanced education in general dentistry certificate from the University of Connecticut Health Center. Dr. Matthew continued his education with specialty residency training in pediatric dentistry at Tufts University in Boston.
When not at work, Dr. Matthew leads an active lifestyle to stay fit. He enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
