Q: What does my dental plan cover?
A: Every plan has different benefits. To get a detailed evidence of coverage, please contact your dental plan directly.
Q: Is the first visit covered 100%?
A: Most dental plans cover diagnostic services at 100%. However, some plans cover less. Please contact your dental plan for coverage information and benefits.
Q: How do I know how much I would have to pay each visit?
A: On your child’s first visit, we would present a treatment plan with an estimate and financial arrangements will be made prior to scheduling next appointment.
Q: Can I use two dental insurance companies?
A: Most dental insurance coordinate benefits. Ask your dental plan administrator if yours does. On your first visit, please provide us with your insurances information and we can find out for you.
Q: Is there a limit on my dental benefits?
A: Most dental PPO plans have a maximum per year. Benefits DO NOT rollover. If you don’t use your benefits within your benefit year (usually calendar year), you loose them.
Q: Does my plan cover braces?
A: Most dental plans have separate orthodontic benefits. They are not part of your yearly maximum. Check with your dental plan for orthodontic benefits, including exclusions and limitations.
